The client needs to update this (not working any more due to youtube server policy changes, 2009). So i take in consideration work with javascript. I decided then to make all the framework using jQuery, css, and some customized jquery plugins.

What it does?

It takes a single html with divs containing thumbs, title, description and so on, and transforms everything into a xhtml little framework with this options:

• Video player (optional: autoplay, fullscreen, related videos)
• Category Sliding Menu
• Thumbnail Slider
• Default Cateory and default item first (optional)
• Cross browser compatible (ie6, ie7, safari, firefox, opera)
• CSS & XHTML valid
• Easy implementation

This flash component works using php and xml to load data directly from youtube servers. Also it display thumbnais, title, text and so on. You can see an exanple here, or visiting the desmogblog web site and clicking on the Desmog Video tab.
